.... and that guy is Shepard Fairey. Fairey's artistic style has heavy influences of political propaganda posters and Russian Constructivism.
Huge bummer, but I missed out on the opening of his recent art-show in San Francisco's White Wall's Gallery, which runs until October 4th

I posted today directly in response to that Obey dude. It's interesting how something that started out as skateboard id stickers would grow to something so huge, that others would parody it to latch on to the emotional response the original has.
